The parade was held in Boise downtown and sponsored by the Liberty Day Parade. It was televised on KITV Channel 6. This is a voluntary participation to promote the FilAm presence in Idaho and to celebrate the Philippine & US Friendship Day.

The Welcome Picnic was held at Cassia Park in Boise. The potluck feast included Lechon and Halo Halo. The event was held to welcome the new leadership in FilAm as well as the new members and new Idahoans. There were at least 150 attendees.
